preaching. During his career, he
directed churches at three
Christian schools and taught
Bible at one. He is a former
elder, member of the board of a number of schools
and a children’s home, and foreign campaigner.

Glenn L. McCullough Jr.
took office July 7 as the 23rd
mayor of Tupelo. Elected in his
first campaign, he received 70
percent of the votes. A member
of the Gloster Street church in
Tupelo, McCullough is also ac-
tive in a number of local and
state programs and has served
as president of Kiwanis. He is also a member of the
Board of Directors for Excellence in Education, and
of the advisory board of Trustmark Natl. Bank.
