University Monday. She is
a member of “Who’s Who”
in American Universities
and Colleges, a member of
the national music sorority,
Mu Phi Epsilon, of the Lit-
tle Theatre, and of Alpha O-
maga, an organization based
upon high scholarship; and
was active in other campus
organizations as well as
popular in social affairs.
Probably the highest honor
conferred by the student
body each year, selection as
queen for the annual Home-
coming at Bailor Univer-
sity,-went to Miss Burkhart
for the year 1939-40. She is
also a favorite among the
younger social set of the
Valley.
