HARLINGEN — Tom J Foster.
Harlingen deputy tex collector, Sat-
urday urged owners of automobiles
here to secure certificate of title to
cars during the month of July.
Foster said a certificate would
be necessary before the owner could
obtain car license plates. During
July Foster raid he would have
an office assistant to assist with the
certificate of title, which ordinarily
requires 10 days to a month to re-
ceive.
“If everybody waits until the last
minute it may take 6C days to get
the certificates.” Foster said. "You
have to have one. July is the only
month this office will have extra
help. Get yours now. not in August,
not September, but July, and I mean
