rpHE Proprietor having neither time to spare from his
I other pursuits nor the inclination to pursue the
printing business, desires to dispose of the “ Matagorda
Gazette” printing office. The press and the larger por-
tion of material comprising the office, are as good as
new, and in good condition. The circulation of the pa-
per is already large for a country newspaper, and con-
stantly increasing. Our advertising patronage, as will
be seen by referring to these columns, is very liberal.
The location is a favored one in many respects, and of-
fers inducements in the way of wealth and the reading
character of the people, to say nothing of the strong lo-
cal pride, which a re not surpassed by any locality in the
State.
To a goon practical printer or any one who can de-
vote attention to the office, it will pay a handsome re-
muneration.
The office will be sold on the most accommodating
terms and at low figures. Persons wishing to purchase
will inquire at this office or address
