She married L M Luther
Kennedy on December 25, 1912,
who preceded her in death on
May 19. 1962 She was a
member of the Mt Vernon
church of Christ
Survivors include two daugh
ters, Mrs Mayme Borden of
Dallas and Mrs Ixina Garret
son of Avery, one sister, Mrs
Willie Mae Wright of Richard
son, several sisters in-law and
brothers in law, Morns Kenne
dy of Denton. Minnie Carpenter
and Tennie Thompson of Mt
Vernon. Clemie Sims of
Sulphur Springs. Effie Sims of
Dallas. Mrs Willie Kennedy of
Jacksonville, and Grace Ken
nedy of Denton, (our grand-
children. seven great, grand
children, and six great, great
grandchildren
