3rd Drowning Of 1978 At Lake Cypress Springs
The funeral home told the
Optic-Herald that arrange-
ments had been completed to
fly the body to San Miguel, de
Alenda, Mexico on Thursday,
where he was born and his
parents reside.
Besides his parents, Mr. and
Mrs Gumecano Ramires, he is
survived by one brother, Jose
Ramires, who lives at Route 1,
Leesburg The drowned man
had worked as a farm laborer
for about one and one-half
years in the area

are 20 regional educational
service centers in the state
which offer various services to
the schools of the state He

Two boys from Mt. Vernon
will be invited to attend The
Salvation Army’s Camp Hoblit-
zelle July 2 • July 9 it was
announced today by Robert
Attaway, Camp Chairman for
the Mt Vernon Salvation Army
Service Unit Committee
Each summer for over 20
years deserving boys between
the ages of eight and 14 have
been invited to spend a week at
the 380 acre camp near
Midlothian The participants
from Mt Vernon this year are
Shawn Shannon and Greg
Penny
These boys, joining with
others from around the state,
will lie afforded an opportunity
to enjoy the pleasures of
camping in a beautiful natural
setting where facilities to rival
those of the most expensive
boy's camps
The Service Unit division of

four week long outings every
summer This year over 800

available to the Mt Vernon
boys is the opportunity to make

share their interests and
