It has always been our policy to give our customers every advantage
possible. Most everybody knows that all automobile dealers find it
necessary occasionally to reduce their stock of Used Curs to take
care of trades for new cats. Likewise, most of the people know
that many Used Cars are sold to strictly used car dealers at whole-
sale prices. Now, instead of “wholesaling” this big stock of fine,
clean Used Cars, we are going to mark the prices down to what we
would have to get from some wholesale buyer, and sell out this
stock to our friends and customers at wholesale prices. Thus, we
find another way to give you the benefit of tremendous savings on
the very ear you will own with complete satisfaction.
Come on down Saturday and select the car
you want and buy it at wholesale price. . .
" save the difference and know you’re buying
a car that has been thoroughly recondition-
ed in the most modern exclusive used car
reconditioning plant In East Texas.
Sincerely,
D. W.

Collegiate ‘Thumbers’

GETTYSBURG^-pa. (UP).—
Motorists who oblige hitch-hikers
will have to look to their intel-
lectual laurels if the “Registered
AjColh'riate Thumbers’ Fraternity,”
organized recently at Gettys-
burg College, “spreads across the
country” as its originators say
it will.
The collegians, describing them-
selves as' “one class of worthy
individuals who find it necessary
to ask free transportation,” said
they would provide those who
pick them up with "agreeable
companionship and intelligent
conversation.”
PACIFIC GROVE, Cal. (UP).
—This city, which has many anti-
quated “taboo” laws, ranging
from prohibition against the
tango to pulling down the cur-
tains, had another one violated
for the first time in many years.
It fixes the speed of horses in
the city limits at six miles an
hour. All the peace officer was
able to ascertain was that the
horses were driven “like mad”
by a movie company on location,
but he could not overtake them
without violating the law himself.
