steering committee composed of
teachers and other friends of educa-
tion to push this matter, and the
county superintendent should see that
his committee works It Is possible
to carry every county in Texas for
the amendment, and the loss of It In
any county will be prima facie evi-
dence that it was not properly ex-
plained to the people
The State department of education
will gladly lend every assistance pos-
sible to friends of the measure in
presenting it to the people The de-
partment now has on hand a few
thousand circulars containing argu-
ments for the amendment These
will be supplied to county superin-
tendents and others for distribution
until the supply Is exhausted. Other
matter in behalf of the amendment
will he printed hy the department as
funds will permit It will he neces-
sary, however, for each county to
pri vide for printing adverfising mat-
