pitched four-hit ball as the Bren-
ham Sun Oilers shut out the /Tex-
aco Manvel Indiana, 6 to 0, for
their third straight victory Sunday.
Although a stiff wind did give
the pitchers some aid, both Sun
Oil hurlers showed a brilliant dis-
play for so early in the aeas-in.
They were also given some nice
support by the Sunoco defense.
An eleven hit assault by two
Manvel pitchers netted the Sun
crew six tallies. Although he had
only one single, Tom Anglcy was
.credited with batting in four run-.
The victory was the third for
the Sun Oilers in four starts and
left them with a clean slate for the
season. Only an 11-inning tie with
the Texas Aggies mart an other-
wise perfect record.
