Judge Charles O. Betts Monday
denied a temporary injunction
sought by Texas railroads against
an emergency order cutting intra-
state freight rates on livestock feed
and hay.
Judge Betts anrwunccd his deci-
sion in 98th district court. He set
a 5 p. m. Thursday effective date
to give the Tailroads an opportun-
