flneer control In the light, fantastic
notes throughout the selection. Her
next group of numbers were choeen
fiom Chopin and throughout both
the “Impromptu in A Plat” and
“Mazurka,” the color and force of
the pieces stood out prominently.
Her rendition of Debussy’s "Re
Hets dans I'Kau” was light and
musical.

this week, the first at 7:30 Tuesday
night in the C. I. A. auditorium
and the second at 1:15 Thursday
night In the Teachers College audi-
torium. Mr. Packard Is not only a
caitoonlst but a composer and a
singer of remarkable songs.
Packard was formerly exclusive-
ly a newspaper (cartoonist and still
contributes to many periodical*

New Cafeteria
at C.I.A. to Be
Completed Soon
The new cafeteria, which is un-
der construction in the Household
Aris Building at C. I. A- will be
ready for use by the beginning of
the second term of this session,
according to W. M. Loveless, busi-
ness manager of (he club
The north wing of the cafeteria
will be a dining room which can
be divided to make two rooms, one
a large dining hall for clubs and
the other a amoUgr room for pat-
rons of the cafeteria on dub days.
The kitchen will be in the north-
west comer. S’
The present cafeteria will be
made Into classrooms, later in the
summer.
It Is probable that all the oU.-
d*mu who remain at the college for
the last three-weeks term will take
their meals in the new cafeteria
The assembly at Teachers College
at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning will
bs devoted to an address by Fred
i H. Minor, representative for this
county in the legislature, on the
memorial tower project, which is
being sponsored by the ex-students
