The chapter of the Y WC A at
the Teachers College will hold its
annual retreat at Bachman's Dam,
near Dallas. May 3-9. A group of 35
students will attend. The theme of
the retreat this year will be "Com-
hiunity Adjustments” and several
prominent speakers have been en-
gaged to conduct the lectures and
discussions.

played for nine meetings of various
sorts. The calf club parade the
Knights Templar Easter parade and
service, Freshman day. highway
meeting, pep rallies, merchants’ ex-
hibit, senate finance committee re-
ception, play day,’and the Odd Fel-
lows parade are among the events
played for.
The band is composed of 40 mem-
bers, according to Graham, and all
are fitted out in the regulation uni-
form, consisting of white trousers,
white sweater with green insignia
and a white and fcYeen cap. The
drum major, T. A. Moore of Den-
ton. has recently received a new
"high hat” of white fur with a green
plume

closed a very successful season when
it presented an evening’s entertain-
ment consisting of four one-act
plays Wednesday evening. The per-
formance was under the direction of
Miss Ruby Walker, sponsor of the
Dramatic Club and director of the
department of speech. *.
The first play way “Mrs. Pat and
the Law,” an Irish comedy. The
parts of Miss Leonora Oorewell as
Mrs Pat and Emory Smith as Pat.
