Election Proclamation.
I, M. P. Yarborough, mayor of the city
of Navasota, bv virtue vested in me by-
law and by orders from the city council
in compliance with the city ordinances,
do hereby order a general election to be
Tuesday in April, A. D. ijfoo, the same
being the 3rd dav of April, A. D. 1900,
for the eleclion of the following officers
to wit: b
Mayor, recorder and out alderman
each for wards Nos. 1,2,3 and 4 of said
city. And I do hereby’ give notice that
a general election will be held in said
city of Navasota in the several wards
thereof on the first Tuesday in April,
A. L). 1900, within the hours prescribed
by law for such elections; and the vot-
ing places and the presiding officers at
^>^id voting places are as follows, viz:

presiding officer Charlie Brigance; Sec-
ond ward at J. If? Freeman’s office, J.
