After Long Hines*
Following a long illness, Jesse Bar-
ry. <
was held Bunday afternoon with a
service held in the Dunavant Under-
taking Co.’s chapel.
Jesse was about 40 years old. He
had for years been a faithful servant
of L. H. Barry. He was a member
of Truevine Baptist Church and led
an upright life. He had many friends
T®ong the white people as well as
his own race. Quite a number of
white persons were in attendance upon
his funeral.
