TIME TO PREPARE
SUNDAY SCHOOL
CLASSES ARE GIVEN
CHRISTMAS PARTY
Misses Margaret aud Alysse Sang-
ste.r entertained their Sunday School
classes with a Christmas party last
evening at their home.
During the first pant of the evening
jokes were told and everyone had a
jolly time playing games, trying to
throw a walnut into a 'bowl, trying to
catch a rolling pie pan when their
names were called and other such in-
door sports. Quite an exiciting time
was had when four of those present
were .blindfolded, each given a banana
and told to feed it to the blindfolded
partner.
But most of the deUght of the eve-
ning oame when the guests were in-
vited into the parlor where a lovely
lighted tree bedecked in tinsel and
bells, held a present for each one of
the little girls. Each one had brought
a gift for one of the class so that
everyone was remembered.. Little red
stockings filled with silver-wrapped
candies, apples, oranges, and bananas
were given to each guest. And to the
surprise of both teachers, a large box
of candy was given to them as a gift
from the classes.
After the gifts (were unwrapped and
everyone had seen each other’s present
Hot chocolate with marriimallows and
cakes was served.
Mrs. H. N. 'Sandal, Naul Sandal, Jr.,
(Mirs. Martin A^len, the sisters and
mother of the hostesses also enjoyed
the evening with the young folks. -
