Wimpy’s Video & Subs, 403 N.
Steminons Erwy., Sanger, Don
and Judy Jost now are turning
their sights upon expanding
their menu.
In addition to their ever-
popular Wimpy burgers, the Josts

served with corn muffins. After
Jan. 1, they plan to offer chopped
barbecue beef sandwiches and
sliced brisket sandwiches as

Although Don said
restaurant sales slumped after
the initial openings of Sonic and
McDonald’s, sales are back up,
and his loyal customers are
returning.
“We have had so many
people come in here saying they
heard that Wimpy’s was
bankrupt, that we were shutting
down or that we are selling out.
But, we are still here, and we are
still contributing to school
programs and activities as we
have always done," he said.
Also, Wimpy’s is still
supporting the community as a
whole, Jost said, and remains
active in the Sanger Chamber of
Commerce.
