"Some one," he said, was sup-

Life stories of peraon# pro-
minent in the new* of 1Ui>o aj p 'nr
in "Current Biography 1930, ju«
added to the n-ferelice collection of
the Breckenridge Public Library,
Panxy Pace. Librarian, announced
today.
Forty women are among the
new*worthy person.* included, aa
are approximately *•> individual?
from outside the United State*.
"Current Biography t'J.Vi" al*o
offers a "bonus" of X" authors'
biographies, which originally ap-
peared during the year in the
"Wilson Library Bulletin."
Two recently crowned monarch-
es are the subject of biographies—
Gustaf VI, King of .Sweden, and
Rama IX. King of Thailand—as
well as Bern ha rd. Prince of the
Netherlands. Two Roosevelts are
included—James and Franklin. Jr.
Among business titans are Bern-
ard F. Oimbel, Thomas J. Watson.
Charles E. WTlson, and Roy E.
Larsen.
A special feature of "Current
Biography Ift.Vi" is the publication
of new articles about persons
\ehose biographies first appeared
in the l!M< or lfMl yearbooks
i both now out of print). Among
the 24 whose added prominence in
recent venrs warrants revised
sketches in this volume are Marian
Anderson. Bernard Baruch, Hnrry
Bridges, George V. Denny, Jr., Leo
Di roc her, J. Edgar Hoover, Pope
Pius XII. Margaret Webster, Ros-
s«l Wright.
An interesting and useful "In-
«k-x by Professions" includes 3
different fields of endeavor, with
I'nited States Government and
Education having the most repre-
sentative*. International Relation*
and Politics come next in numhe
of biographies, th. n Foreign Go-
vernment and Law. ewest entrier
are found under Architecture. Na-
val. Dance, and Art, making tlwi'
inclusion all the more important t.
those who need to locittc thi

headings are Aviation. Businew,
Diplomacy. Engineering, Finance.
Industry. Journalism, Labor, Me-
dicine, Military, Motion Pictures,

Science, Social Science, Social Ser-
vice. Sports. Technology. Televia-

Like its ten prcdi-cesaor*. this
yearbook is a one-alphabet cumu-
lation of articles and obituaries
that <have appeared in the monthly
issues during the year. Each
sketch includes a photograph and
references to additional material.
Considerable research makes pos-
sible impartial and accurate infor-
mation. while an informal rtTle
adds readability.
An eleven-year index, compris-
ing some 7.0W entries, include*
obituary notices as well an ult
whose stories have been told in
Current Biography from its flwt
volume in 1940 through Dectm-
