Notes

Translation of Item: "Dear Madam and Mr. Kempner,
I would like to thank you very much for having been kind enough to stand by for me as I attended the district court April 9 - late today. I am a citizen of the U.S. - so I applied for my American passport right away. I leave San Antonio on April 30 and New York May 2 by Salma Airlines. I will be in Paris on May 3. To return to the U.S.A. I would return by the Liberty from Le Havre to New York. Also Dear Madam and Mr. Kempner, if you think I could be of use to you in anything, please make use of me, or if you need some commissions from France I would be very happy to render you this service. I am very worried about my Dad's skin and I wonder in what condition I will find him again. My thanks dear sir and madam and believe in my very respectful feelings.

Louise Hamon"
