Mr. Pierre Chardine
34 Rue Lord-Kitchener
Le Havre, France
Dear Pierre:
Jeane and I want to thank you very much indeed for your letter
of the fifth advising us of the condition of Nicole and Fabrice and your
very kind invitation to have dinner with you on August 13th. It is very
nice of you to go to all this trouble and we will be delighted to do so.
We will spend the night in Le Havre and ask that you reserve for us at
the Hotel Normandie an apartment consisting of two double bedrooms
each with bath and sitting room for that night. We will leave early the
next morning.
All of us here also want to thank you for your letter of April
2nd signed by you, Sabine, Nicole, Jean Louis, Christian and Fabrice.
I am surprised that the two latter have learned to write so quickly.
We really look forward to seeing you and hope you will all
keep well.
Again thanks, and with best wishes, I am
Yours sincerely,
