Text: "Dear Uncle Dan, it was very thoughtful of you to send me the graduation photo of mother, and Alice and I want to thank you and Aunt Jeane for letting me have it. We don't have any youthful pictures of her, and hence this once is most welcome. I hope you enjoyed your trip to Europe. As you probably know, Alice and I took an extensive, if not extended, trip this summer, and visited France, Italy, Israel, Greece and Switzerland in four weeks. We found it both pleasant and interesting, and hope your trip was just as enjoyable. Alice joins me in sending best wishes to you and Aust Jeane for a successful and happy 1951. Harris."
