Mr. R. A. Horlock, of Navaso-
ta, was in the oity yesterday. He

his town and visited Houston for

the difference between oil and
lignite coal, bar cleanliness and
convenience, was the difference
between 2b and 26 as a fuel to
accomplish the same result In hi*
line. He thought that "the differ-
ence should be greater than that,
even on a guarantee basis of
prompt delivery of oil before con-
sumers would be warranted in
making necessary changes in their
plant. “Other investigators may
have come to a different conclu-
sion,” he said, “but that is the
result of my examinations.”'
The gentleman has recently
prepared what he regards as a
successful boll weevil extermina-
tor. “After several . years, of
close study and observation I
have come to the conclusion that
I have solved the problem of
holding in abeyance, if not totally
