Although a preliminary examina-
tion failed to produce anything in-

death. Captain B. W. Thomaiton of

life had been sacrificed in opera-

the Rhoads home after two other
members of^the cult. Mrs. Otis

varado Saturday.
Renfro was born in Illinois and
caine to Texas more than 50 years
ago, settling in Ellta County. He
later moved to East Texas and then
to Denton in 1907. where he had
made his home most of the time
since He lived with his son, R. W.
Renfro, here
He was married to Miss Lou Wel-
born about 52 years ago, and the
couple celebrated their golden wed-
ding anniversary in 1927.
