Navy Enlistments
Are Still Open
Chief Charles O. Maky of the
U. S. Navy Recruiting Station
in Austin has announced that
all men who have had their pre-
induction mental and physical
examination may still apply for
enlistment in the U. S. Navy
and be accepted.
Due to the present need for
sailors in the expanding navy
this category was opened to
make it possible for men to en-
list in order to fill the vacan-
cies that exist in the fleet and
shore bases of the navy.
There are openings in avia-
tion, submarines and the sur-
face fleet for men that can qua-
lify.
