1 The Faculty Legal Action Associa-
tion selected officers Monday after
reaching its mark of a minimum of
100 members.
David Smith, biology professor,
said membership surpasses 100.
“It was more like 104, but I’m not
sure,” he said Wednesday.
Approximately 90 faculty
members attended the meeting.
They elected Richard Davis, history
professor, president, and Michael
Looney, chemistry professor, vice
president.
Other officers are
government professor, secretary;
and Smith, treasurer.
Three directors-at-large also were
selected.
