ville High School Student Coun-
cil met Sept. 13. to elect officers
for the coming year.
Elected were: Nolan Brandt;
president, Robert Justice, vice-
president, Linda Hassler; re-
cording secretary, Lou Green-
way; corresponding secretary,
Joe Pinnelli- reporter and Mel-
vin Spitzenberger, treasurer.
The Student council wishes to
extend an invitation to anyone
interested in the meeting to
attend. The meetings are held
in the Clubroom of the Old
building every Tuesday at 12:20

The Stephenville Ministerial
Alliance' met for its regular
September session recently at
the Methodist Student Center
and elected the following as of-
ficers for the coming year 1966-
67: Rev. Martin Hager, pastor
of the Presbyterian Church, as
President; Rev. Calvin Gustin,
pastor of the Harvey Baptist
Church, as Vlce-Preesident in
Funeral Sunday for
Leonard Collinsworth
Services for Leonard Calhoun
Collinsworth, 69, win be held in
the First Baptist Church at
Dublin today at 2 p.m. with
Rev. Leslie Green and Rev. Per-
rin officiating.
Collinsworth was born in
Grand Saline May 36, 1867 and
died in the local hospital Fri-
day. He was married to Jewell
Woods Feb. 23, 1918. ’
Survivors include his widow;
two sons, J. D., Glendale, Calif.,
and Leonard Jr., Sherman; four
sisters, Mrs. Sudie Gibson, Ste-
phenville, Mrs. Isla Newby, Los
Cruces, N. M., Mrs. Velma Bar-
nett, Gustine, and Mrs. Ima
Love Sims, Spearman; two
brothers, Albert, Stephenville,
and Ronald, Dublin; and four
grandchildren.
Interment will be in Barbee
Cemetery under the direction of
Harrell Funeral Home.

the Future Farmers of America
met Tuesday night Sept. 6, for
the purpose of electing officers
for the following year.
New officers are: Randy Go-
