Aldena Shinn, 86, wilLbe held in
the Trewitt-Reed Chapel Wed-
nesday at 10:30 a.m.
Mrs. Shinn was born at Cedar
Creek March 30, 1880 and died
in the local hospital Monday
after a long illness. She was the
daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. B. H. Tyler and was mar-
ried to T. E. Shinn Sept. 18,
1898. Her husband preceded her
in death April 6,1948. She was a
member of the Methodist
Church.

lieutenant and now is captain tn
the reserves. He resumed his
teaching in Houston in 1967 and
received his Masters from Ste-
phen F. Austin in 1962. He was
given a teaching fellowship at
A 4 M and did graduate work
at Chicago University. He has
been an instructor at SFA for
two years. McCullough is mar-
ried and has two sons, Thomas
9 and Bruce 8. His wife, El
Ruth, is also a TSC graduate
and received a BS in home eeo-
