The chairman of the engineering
technology department will step
down from his post this summer
after a feasibility study of the depart-
ment is completed.
Clay Laster, chairman of the
department since fall 1986, said he
would leave his position in mid-
summer for health reasons.
Laster will continue teaching here
full time after he steps down. He
came to this college as an instructor
in 1976.
“He tried resigning once before,”
Tessa Tagle, dean of occupational
education and technology, said,
“but we talked him out of it
successfully.”
