The Open House at the Lacasa
Community Center was well attend-
ed Saturday night with plenty of
ice cream and cake. One cake was
auctioned off, auctioneer being Mr.
John Tibbels of Ranger. The in-
debtedness for the new floor cover
and paint job was paid for by do
nations.
Rev. Jarkie Heath of Ranger had
charge of Sunday preaching servic-
es at New Hope Baptist Church
in the absence of the pastor who
was away in a revival meeting.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Watson
and children. Sue, Jack, and Jerry
have been on a vacation trip for the
past three weeks, visiting his par-
ents in Winnsboro, Louisiana, a
brother and a sister in Tallulah,
Louisiana, and his sister in Dallas
Texas. While at Winnsboro Mrs.
Watson was painfully injured in
a fall, but she is much better.
