ess at the annual coronation at
Trinity University, San Antonio,

Miss Johanson, music major, a
member of the Trinity Trio, was
listed on the honor roll for the
past year. The trio is planning a |
summer tour which will include j
the whole state of Texas. She is
a member of the Red Cardinal, an

Mrs. Howard Sparks entertain-
ed Thursday night with a birth-
day dinner honoring her husband,
the affair being held in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Sparks.
A chicken dinner complete with
birthday cake with candles was
served to the honoree, Mr.
Sparks, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney
Ripley, Adrian Lindsey, Ernest
Wylie and the groom’s parents.
The young guests attended the
opening of the Texas Theatre fol-
lowing the dipner.

coming the last week-end in May

the group kept the tryst.
