Every Business Man Should be an In-
terested Party.
Conditions make a town and
make a country. The way we used
to do business has nothing ir
common with the way it is done
nowadays. Not a neighborhood
in Grimes county but what has un-
dergone a complete system ol
metamorphosis, so to speak, and
though the change in some places
may have been slow and unnotice-
able, in others the very reverse
has been the case. Railroads in-
tersect our county now that former-
ly was accessible only by the dirt
route. With the railroads have

new ways of doing business. In

road village, is a thing of the past
and in’its stead has sprung up in a
night, as it were, a town filled with
push and energy, money and
brains. Here is the point: - The
town of Bedias has about twelve here from Brazos county today.

end of the county should come to
Mavasota or go to Bryan any more.
Goods are handled at Bedias,
right at their door, in quanti^ an^

prices. ,, — ----
