ORIGINALLY BUILT in 1895 Cuero’s MUTI HOTEL
has long been recognized as one of the leading small
city hotels in South Texas.' While the original brick
I
structure still stands the interior has been completely
remodeled and redecorated and a stucco finish ap-
plied to the exterior. Morst of the guesl rooms have
been modernized under direction of the present own-
ers, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Cotton, and the work will be
continued until the entire job is completed.

THE MUTI HOTEL COFFEE SHOP is completely air-
conditioned and enjoys the distinction of serving the
best food in the city. It is now under the manage-
ment of Mrs. M. G. Menke, well known caterer, who for
many years operated a boarding house in Cuero and
whose food and consideration for her guests won her a
state-wide reputation. The Coffee Shop is a popular
.
gathering place for Cuero families on Sundays.
