Cover. 1% cups of shelledsBrazil
nuts with cold water. Bring slowly
to a boil. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
Drain and cut Into thin lengthwise
slices. Spread out tn shallow pan.
Dot With 2 tablespoons butter or
margarine. Sprinkle well with salt
Bake in a moderate oven (35Q*F.)

Melt fat in heavy

onion is tender. Add water, orange

rice slowly. Cover and bring to a

25 minutes. Yield; 6 servings.
Note: If desired use 1-8 teaspoon
: thyme as additional seasoning.
