and marines with public ceremonies
at the College last Sunday afternoon
was a solemn and patriotic occasion.
The certificates were prepared by
the French High Commission at the
direction of the French government.
The presentations throughout the
United States were made with the as-

| auspices of the American Legion.
The presentation of these certifi-
| cates was made on Washington's
Birthday, February 22, 1920. In all
