The Home Mission Council and I lie
Council of Women for Home Missions
in the United Stues, which embraces
twenty-seven denominational agencies
lias set. aside the week of November
17th to the 24th, inclusive as Home
Mission week, and is asking that all
accommodations churches interested in this great work
i unite in observing the week by a uni-
lied effort to enlighten our own people
j in the great work of Home Missions.
j In accordance with the request of
ithe central committee of the council,
the pastors of the Methodist, Baptist
and Presbyterian churches will ex-
change pulpits next Sunday night, the
10th. This should be done the night
of the 17th, but as that is the last
night that Brother Kidd will have with
his congregation before his annual
conference meets, we have decided to
make the change one week earlier.
Then on the night of November 24th
wo will have a union service in the In-
terest of Home Missions, at the Bap-
tist tabernacle, In which we invite all
of the churches to unite in an effort
to impress upon the public the great
need of the Home Mission work.
Surely we need to awaken from our
lethargy and do our utmost to evan-
gelize America, and make "Our Coun-
try God's Country."
