that it is Imperative to watch the dol-
lars and cents at this end in the pro-
duction of staple cotton. This cotton
should be stored a few weeks before
ginning results without injury to sam-
ple. But in ginning methods he thinks
the common saw gin, with breasts
raised and slow feed, without the
slacking machinery speed, cannot be
improved on but little, as through such
methods, ho has always been able to

prolific, and Mr Wooten is willing to
wager that acre for acre it will pro-

has found in counting the acres with
his neighbors that grew other types.
He generally had the best of it in
lint production. This cotton should be

To My Friends and Customers:
With the ending of the year 1912 I find myself en-
joying the best business since my residence in Bay City
and I take this method of thanking my many friends and
customers for their liberal patronage. And at this happy,
joyous season I feel doubly grateful, for 1 realize that
I have given every purchaser his money's worth, and every
man, woman, boy or girl who has made a purchase at my store
has been treated fairly and squarely.
Since moving to the old Moore & Reynolds stand I am in
much better position to handle my trade and display my
well selected line of Dry Goods, Shoes, Ladies' and Gents'
Furnishings, etc. If you haven't been in to see me, make
it a point to drop by at the first opportunity.
Again thanking you for your liberal patronage, inviting
a continuance, and wishing each and every one a Merry Xmas
and Prosperous New Year, I am. Respectfully,
