As per previous announcement,
Evangelist Ham devoted the afternoon
hour yesterday to a discussion of the
errors of Christian Science, so-called;
for It Is neither Christian nor scien-
tific.
The preacher stated at the beginning
that he conceded the sincerity of the
followers of this cult./ He had no
doubt that they are just as sincere in
------.• belief as he is in his. But sin-
cerity is no evidence that they
right. Paul said that when lie was
persecuting tho Christians lie verily
thought that he was doing God's ser-
vice, It is a well-known fact that tiie
1 advocates of religious error are always
! more zealous than the advocates of
truth; for they are under the delusion
of the Devil, and he never sleeps on
tiie job. He keeps Ids victims stirred
up and active always. Of course they
are not conscious of tiie source of their
delusion nor of the fact that it is a
delusion.
I Nor is the rapid spread of Christian
i! Science any evidence that It Is right.

medanism each numbers Its disciples

No; Christian Science must stand
upon more secure grounds than the
sincerity of its votaries and the rapid-
ity of its growth.
