[ while the highway leading to
Kosse from Mexia vtas almost
’ a continuous stream of rush-
ing automobiles and wagons
loaded with derrick timbers,
machinery and supplies of ev-
ery kind necessary to meet the
new demands.
But notwithstanding all of
this, Kossee is by no means a
completed city, it faces many
difficult problems to be solved.
The place has no waterworks,
no fire protection, no sewer
system, only a limited lighting
system, inadequate hotel facili-
ties and other requirements
necessary to meet present day
conditions. But Kosse will
soon solve all of these prob-
lems and become a substantial,
bustling, busy city as a result,
of the oil discovery almost,
within the corporate limits ofi
the city—a discovery that it is;
predicted will eclipse anything
of the kind ever staged in Tex-1
as.
If you have never been to;
a town throbbing with the ex-
citement of an immense oil dis-1
covery. then we would advise
you to load up your jitney with I
a supply of provisions, cots
and bedding and make a visit
to Kosse.
Always a complete stock of f

market prices. Come in ane see f
