with yellow roses and flanked
on either side with a double can-
dlelabra with yellow candles
Candlelighters were Mrs. John-
ny Chilton of Chico, who wore a
yellow cotton dress with a fitted
bodice and bouffant skirt, and
• .wrist corsage of yellow rose-
buds, and Sonny Manson of De-
catur Baptist College.

The bride, given in marriage
by her father wore an original
gown of Chantilly lace over satin
with a fitted bodice and long
sleeves which came to a point
over the hands. The portrait
neckline was embroidered with
a dainty motif of seed pearls and
sequins, while the full-length
skirt was softly gathered in folds
which fell from an apron-effect
in front to a triple train in the
back. She wore pearls and car-
ried her bridal bouquet of a white
orchid encircled with white roses
and lily-of-the-valley on a white
Bible.
Her maid of honor was Miss
Sunny Rutledge of Vernon, who
wore a yellow fitted dress of cot-
ton «nd carried a single long-
stemmed yellow rose.
Mrs Kenneth Buckner and
Miss Jeannie* Green, bridesmaid
and junior bridesmaid, both cou-
sins of the bride, wore dresses*
identical to that of the maid of
honor and also carried single
yellow roses.
Terry Moore of Abilene, cousin
of the groom, and Mattie Long
of Cache, Oklahoma, cousin of
the bride were flower girls, while
Greg Nichols, brother of the
groom, was ringbearer.
Steve BaHrote of Slidell, was
his roommates best man.
Groomsman was David Whit-
ten of Lubbock and Dale George
cousin of the bride was junior
groomsman. Ushers were Gar-
land Nichols of Byers, a brother
of the groom and Jerry Cox of
Paradise, cousin of the bridp.
