Bowie and is in the U. S. Navy sta-
tioned at San Francisco, Calif.

From the information 1 attain-
ed this is the first time in the his-
tory of Montague County that the
people have been deprived of the
right to vote. I wonder«if this is
lawful? Why is it being done, is it
to save the candidates a little
money, or is it they just don’t
care who gets into office?
It is my understanding that the
local candidates were aware that
the expense of a run-off election
was to be borne by them when
they filed their application as a
candidate But now, that the local
men havp. gotten their wish, I
guess they are happy. Do we need
