burg, apparently from a

Burial was in the Alvord Ceme-
tery under direction of Owens &
Brumley Funeral Home of Bowie.
Survivors include his widow,
Mrs. Grace Scott; two daughters,
Mrs Thelma Simmons of Oregon
and Mrs. Sylvia Stoker of Michi-
gan; two sons, Elwyn of Decatur
and Delwyn of Borger; two sis-
ters. Mrs. Louds Meyers of Forest-
burg and Mrs. Elsie Cherries of
Smithville; two brothers, Frank
and Blake Scott, both of Forest-
burg and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Pearl E. Smittou of Post
Oak came to the office Wednesday
morning with another gorgeous
turnip which tipped the scale at
six pounds, three ounces and look-
ed large enough to fill the pot for
even our family.
