Judy Lemons was hostess to
Hobby Club members for their
Christmas dinner party Thurs-
day evening, December 9. A
covered dish dinner was served
at tables decorated in a
seasonal theme.
Following dinner a gift
exchange was held and games
of bingo were played.
Present in addition to the
hostess were JoAnn Brewster,
Dixie Cook, Lucille Holman,
Ruth Ella May, Debbie Moore,
Jan Prater, Lodema Reed. Jane
Rivers, Charlotte Schaef, Jan-
i-t Schaef, Debbie Thrasher,
Annette Walser and her baby,
and Sandy Wilson.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jackson
returned Sunday from a week's
visit in Kentucky with their
daughter and family, the
Charles Kessies.
Purcells visit
at Summerfield
Mr. and Mrs. Don Purcell and
Amy,and Bobbie Purcell, spent
the weekend in the home of
Bobbie's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Guy Walser of Summerfield.
On Saturday Mr. and Mrs.
Walser were hosts to a dinner
at which five generations were
present: Charlie Walser, the
great-great-grandfather, of
Hereford, Mrs. Ethel Curry,
great great grandmother, of
Hereford, Mr. and Mrs. Guy
Walser, great-grandparents,
Bobbie Purcell, grandmother,
Mr. and Mrs. Don Purcell,
parents, of Canadian, and
young Amy Purcell.
Also present were great
aunts and uncles Wayne
Walser. Mrs. Betty Hayes and
Derva Baker of Summerfield.
and Mr. and Mrs. Don Walser
and family and Mr. and Mrs.
Ken Walser and Jill of
Hereford.

Club entertained their hus
bands at a Christmas dinner
Saturday evening in the home
of Mr. and Mrs. O.G. Riley.

May. Mr. and Mrs. Larry
McEntire, Mr. and Mrs. Bill

Morse.
The dinner included ham.
salads, vegetables, relishes,
pie, cake, coffee and tea.
Rather than have a gift
exchange the group decided to
give to the Cookson Hills
Christian Ranch.
Sunday dinner guests of Mrs.
U.K. Ezzell were Laurie, Rob
and Gabriel Brown and Nan and
Ben E/.zell.
UMW circle
meets Tuesday
UMW Circle II met Tuesday
morning in the home of Sandye
Waterfield.
Libby Barker presided and
led the group in the opening
prayer.
In an election of officers
Sandye Killebrew was elected
chairwoman for the coming
year. Other new officers are
Cornelia Varnell, vice-chair
woman, and Sandy Waterfield.

program, "The Diary of the
Magi".
Refreshments of coffee cake,
fruit cake, sausage biscuits,
banana and pineapple chunks
and coffee and tea were served

Lillian Shaw, Maggie Babitzke,
Eva Nix. Harriet Ramp and
Bobby Jo Ramp.
