another extensive summer base-
ball program lor all the boys of
Bowie.
Sponsors, coaches and dad
helpers are being recruited for
four teams of Little League boys

League teams for boys who are

The American Legion has reg-
istered a group of teen-agg boys

The re-election oi teachers in
the Bowie schikil system was
taken up and acted upon. The
following teachers were elected
for the 1955-56 school year. All
coaches and principals were re-
elected at' a previous meeting.

They had sent the telegrams to
themselves at the Bowie tele-
graph office with instructions
that they would call for the tele-
grams.
When Garlington became su,y.
picious he called the sheriff's of-
fice. Tandy Welch, under-sheriff,
answered the phone. He loft at
once for Bowie. In the meantime
Garlington called the fire sta-
tion and Constable Hendrix ap-
peared at the grocery at once.
Garlington told Hendrix the two

engineer, introduced Mr. Dean.
George M. Garret of Ft. Worth
showed a highway film that em-
phasized the .danger of inade-
