Migl Reunion
Oct. 15 at St.
Mary’s Church
The 2011 Migl Reunion,
descendants of Frantisek and
Johana Migl, will be held on
Saturday, Oct. 15, at Saint
Mary’s Catholic Church and
Parish Hall at 821 FM 1295
in Praha. This is the 137th An-
niversary of the Migl Family
arrival in America.
Registration will begin at
10 a.m., with lunch served
at 12:30 p.m. (cost is $7 per
person; children under 8 eat
free). After lunch, a family
reunion meeting, fellowship
and silent auction will take
place, followed by a Migl
family Mass at 4:30 p.m. Each
family is asked to donate
items for the silent auction
and to bring a dessert for
the meal.

Agriculture is finalizing plans
for its 2011 Fall Community-
wide Garage Sale which will
be held on Saturday, Oct. 8.
The sales begin at 8 a.m.
Maps of the individuals hav-
ing garage sales will be at
several local businesses and
the chamber office.
All active chamber mem-
bers are eligible to submit
their names for the map at
no cost. However, for non-
members it will be a charge

Yoakum Cub Scout Pack 224 collected donations for the fire victims around Bastrop. Items were:
cases of water, clothing, toiletry items, bedding, toys, cleaning supplies, and monetary donations
to the Red Cross. Many thanks to all those making donations. Helping collect the donations were:
Johnny Turk (Weblos Den Dad), Linda Hairell (Bear Den Mother), Jeff Points (Cub Master), Kelly
Chandler (Committee Chairman) and some Cub Scout members for the 2011-12 scouting year.
