Church. He was born in Ash Coun-
ty. N C. Marell 26. 1853. and died
at his home of paralysis He was
a member of the local Church of
Christ Besides his wife he is sur-
vived by the following children
Mrs Cora Johnson, Celina; Mrs
Laura Milligan. Slidell; Mrs Lea
Campbell and W H Cearley, San-
ger. and Mrs Man, Davis. Winters
Twenty - nine grandchildren 54
great-grandchildren. three great-

PILOT POINT. June 30 —Funer-
al services were held at the Bloom-
field Church Thursday afternoon
for William A. Wooten, 77. who died
Wednesday afternoon at the home
of a brother. Tom Wooten, west of
Pilot Point The services were con-
ducted by the Rev Mr. Thomas of
Gainesville. Burial was in Walling
cemetery. .
Nephews were pallbearers, and
nieces were in charge of flowers.
Wooten had made his home with
his brother
