Is Held Friday
Miss Wilma Ione Watson, whose
marriage to Leonard Lacy Wil-
liams will be held May 29 in the
Little - Chapel - in - the - Woods at
Texas State College for Women,
was honored Friday night from 7
to 9 o’clock at a shower given by
her sunt. Mrs. C. C Squires at
her home in Irving.
Relatives of the bride - elect and
close friends attended. Guests from
Denton included Mrs. Eleanor Cole-
man. Miss Peg Lockhart, Charles
Graham and Miss Dollye Squires.
Mrs. R F Watson, also an aunt
of Miss Watson, presided st the
punch bowl, when refreshments of
fruit punch, cookies and nuts were
served.
Decorations in the home includ-
ed gladlola and carnation bouquets
in the living room, a doll dressed
as bride and surrounded by wed-
ding bells on the table where the
guest book was placed, and gar-
denias around the punch bowl on
the dining table. Other arrange-
ments included bouquets of daisies,
petunias and phlox
