The Senior Kroweldeen Club
met Tuesday afternoon with Mrs.
Ruth Ferguson as hostess at her
home on Ncrth Madison Street.
Arrangements of pink hyacinths
and other spring blossoms deco-
rated the entertaining rooms.
A short business session was
■ conducted by the president.
Quite a bit of amusement re-
sulted when each member an-
swered roll call with an amus-
ing incident in their own lives.
The program for the afternoon
was the book review “Our Hearts
Were Young and Gay” by Cor-
nelia Otis Skinner and Emily
Kimbrough. This bock was
splendidly reviewed by Mrs. Joe
Badt and the club thoroughly
enjoyed the humorous adventures
of the two authors as they vis-
ited Europe when they were
ycung girls. This book is the
year’s high water mark in hi-
larity, and Mrs. Badt’s presenta-
tion gave a very hilarious af-
ternoon cf fun.
The next meeting will be xith
Mrs. W. A. Ford.
