tained about twenty teachers and
officers of this department in the
parlor of the Baptist Church
Monday evening.
In her opening remarks, Mrs.
Thacker read the poem “Our
Task.” After a song “Ready,”
Mrs. Norma Martin gave the de-
votional and Mrs. Doyce Davis
led in prayer. This was followed
by a round-table discussion on
ways and means to increase Sun-
day school attendance. Mrs. A. S.
Mitchell dismissed the meeting
with prayer.
During the social hour that fol-
lowed, delicious apple pie and I
coffee were served.
