The White Cross guild of St.
Clement's Episcopal church gave an
enjoyable moonlight' motor ride and
welnie roast on Monday evening
near Canutillc. Forty of the young
folk of the church enjoyed the out-
ing chaperoned by the rector of the
church. Dr. Fuller Swift and Mrs.
Swift. A camp fire was built and
I songs games and stories enjoyed in
its glow the party motoring back
to the city by moonlight.

A dance was given at Clint on
Monday evening in honor of the men
of the United States reclamation
service and their families as a fare-
rweU honor to them prior to their
leaving for their new location at
Tsleta Texas. An orchestra played
for the dancing. Numerous guests
from the valley towns and El Paso
were present.
The reclamation headquarters were
moved from Clint to Tsleta on Tues-
day. the Hi-Y boys and then the boys and
their host will Join the Hi-Y for their
summer encampment.

university proper. Mr. Manning has
made an excellent record at the school
of law. having made a general per
cent of 93 throughout the year. He

also holds the highest office in his

After graduation Mr. Manning will
leave immediately for Austin Texas
where be will take the state board
examination in' law and will then
come come here to Join his wife and
baby who have been with Mrs Man-
