nlty for the Alamo-Pharr-San .luan
Public Schools for the term 1923-24
has been completed. Each teacher
holds a first grade certificate or
higher. Three-fourths of the high
uchool faculty have degTees from
standard universities and all have
had successful experience. Teach-
ers will attend institute at Browns-
rille September 3 to 7. inclusive.
School opens September 10.
School officials have been noti
fied by the .state department of ed-
ucation that the school has been ac-
credited an additional one-half unit
in American history. The total
number of credits is now 22 k.

dox were received several weeks ago.

Mrs. Maddox and little daughter Jean
left Thursday afternoon for Camp Vail.
At Kingsville the lieutenant received a
telegram informing him that the ord'r
had been countermanded with inslruc-
t uns that he return immediately tn
Fort Itrown. and they arrived in
Brownsville on the Friday train.
Fort Brown polo players and fans
state that the Twelfth (avalry is now
in a position to build up a regimental
polo team which should w u all ttophirs
in the Kiglith Corps Area.

accordance with the said resolution
plans and specifications to which they

for with the said City Manager on or
