-'SAN BENITO Texas July 4.—J. E.
Bell formerly secretary of the Chamber
of Commerce of Fredericksburg has ar-
rived in San Benito to take over his
duties as secretary of the local cham-
ber and met with the members on his
arrival in San Benito.
E. B. Neiswanger chairman of the
executive committee of the local Cham-
ber of Commerce told members at the
meeting that Mr. Bell had been slectd
only after a thorough investigation and
that he and other members of the com-
mittee entertained no doubt as to his
success.
A telegram from the Fredericksburg
Chamber of Commerce expressing re-
grets of that organization in losing the
secretary was read.
